Weather in Banff – Late October
Dress code for this meeting is casual/business casual.
We look forward to welcoming you to Banff’s beautiful mountain setting in late October.
Layering clothes is essential, so please be sure to pack warm layers, a windproof winter coat, gloves or mitts, a warm hat and insulated waterproof boots.
Participants can expect crisp mountain air and the first signs of winter during their visit. Daytime temperatures typically reach around 7°C (45°F), while nighttime lows can dip below freezing (-3°C / 27°F). Light snowfall is common by late October, and the days are shorter, with sunset around 6:15 PM.
Despite the cooler weather, Banff offers spectacular scenery with snow-dusted peaks and peaceful trails — a beautiful backdrop for our gathering.
